Kinder Christmas Collection

Our K-3 Christmas Idea Book has been a great resource for PreK - Grade 3 teachers for many years, but we’ve had many requests for a new collection. Kinder Christmas has more great songs for PreK-Grade 2 Holiday Concerts: There Was a Little Baby, 10 Little Angels, Teddy Bear Twist, Christmas is a Time to Sing, Rudolph & more!

SONGS - Piano/Vocal

1. Feliz Navidad, Joyeux Noel
An echo song wishing Merry Christmas in Spanish, French and English, Use the song to open or close your concert.

2. Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer
This arrangement will give you a very singable version of the song, with a nice accompaniment track. Rudolph is a favorite performance piece for preK-Grade 3, and we’ve included a great piano accompaniment of this as well as performance/accompaniment tracks on the CD.

3. Reindeer Love to Boogie
Get your kindergarten students dancing. Parents will love watching their children boogying.
4. There Was a Little Baby
* This traditional song is on the Raffi Christmas album. We’ve provided a piano accompaniment for it, and a nice perf/accompaniment track on the CD. The repetive lyrics make this a very easy song for PreK-Grade 3 to learn.

5. Tap, Tap, Tap
If you want to add rhythm instruments to your holiday concert, this is a cute song about building the toys. Add elf hats, and you’ve got a great concert selection. This song doesn’t use the words “Christmas” so can be used in Holiday concerts as well as Christmas concerts.

6. Let’s Be Jolly
We’ve had requests for easy medleys of familiar Christmas songs. This is a unison medley of Jolly Old St Nicholas, Deck the Halls and Jingle Bells.

7. Christmas ABC (American) / Christmas ABC (Canadian)
Reinforce the alphabet with an easy Christmas alphabet song. Catchy tune and arrangement. We’ve included two versions of the song - the Americans use the letter Zee, and the Canadian uses the letter Zed.

8. Gingerbread
Make up a dance to go with the gingerbread boys and girls song. This song doesn’t use the words “Christmas” so can be used in Holiday concerts as well as Christmas concerts.

9. Teddy Bear Twist
Make teddy bear headbands, and teach your teddy bears to do the twist! This song doesn’t use the words “Christmas” so can be used in Holiday concerts as well as Christmas concerts.

10. I Hear the Bells
This song has a very pretty melody. If you have G, F#, E, D bells or barred instruments, you could add instruments to the song.

11. Ten Little Angels
Craig Cassils has written a sparkling accompaniment for this traditional song. Change the word “Christmas morning” to “Sunday morning” for use in holiday concerts.

12. Christmas Dance
This Christmas Dance has a latin feel. The words of the song suggest the movements of the dance.

13. Rock Around the Christmas Tree
